Murton, Van Buren headed to Chicago

Iowa Cubs News Release
The Chicago Cubs will activate Iowa outfielder Matt Murton and pitcher Jermaine Van Buren Tuesday, as right-hander Kerry Wood was placed on the disabled list and outfielder Todd Hollandsworth was traded to Atlanta for two minor league pitchers . Murton, who will be in his second stint with Chicago this year, was 2-5 with a double Monday night at Omaha. Van Buren saved 25 games for Iowa this season, setting a franchise record.
