
Rays Team up with Cricket Communications for Toys for Tots Campaign

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, are teaming up with Cricket Communications to sponsor a Toys for Tots campaign at the game on Sunday, Dec. 9 when the Stingrays host the Johnstown Chiefs at the North Charleston Coliseum.
Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Coliseum box office and for each toy a fan brings, he or she can purchase a $9 ticket for the game in exchange for donating. All toys will be collected inside the Coliseum at the Cricket Communications Kiosk located on the concourse outside section 110.
Come out on Saturday for Charleston Miracle League Night. The Stingrays will be hosting a live auction after the game to benefit the Miracle League. It's also the annual Teddy Bear Toss for Debi's Kids. Bring your teddy bear to the game to throw on the ice after the Stingrays score their first goal of the game. Game time is 7:05 p.m. with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. for Season Ticket Holders and at 6 p.m. for the general public.
Next up for the Stingrays is the Augusta Lynx in Augusta on Friday, Dec. 7 at the James Brown Arena. The game starts at 7:35 p.m. with all the pre-game action beginning on ESPN Radio 910 the Team at 7:20 p.m. Fans, don't forget to listen in after the game for the Fitzsimmon's Gutters Post-Game Show with Josh Heller, Voice of the Rays, and Head Coach Jared Bednar.
