Rays Host Charlotte Tonight

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays host the Charlotte Checkers tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.

Stingrays' games on Tuesday nights are the place to be in the Low Country with $5 tickets at the box office for anyone with a valid college ID or valid pay stub from the hospitality, golf, and food and beverage industries. Come early and enjoy $2 Bud Light Draught beer until the end of the first period.

Tickets are still available for tonight's game ranging from $13 - $19, so stop by the Coliseum Box Office or purchase online at www.ticketmaster.com. Have a group of ten or more? Call the Stingrays at 744-2248 for special discounts.

The Stingrays decimated the Florida Everblades Saturday night at home, 6-2. Michael Dubuc tied a season high with 4 goals, all on the power play, and amassed five points as the Rays won their second consecutive game for the first time since late December. The Checkers, meanwhile, handed the Everblades their third straight loss Sunday in Charlotte, 4-3.
