Idaho's Welch Suspended Three Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Idaho forward Dan Welch has been
suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of
his actions in ECHL Game #530 at Bakersfield on Feb. 7.
Welch is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Welch missed Idaho's game at Stockton (Feb. 9) and will miss Idaho's games
vs. Phoenix (Feb. 13 and 14).
