SHOTS FROM THE POINT
3-N-3: The Rampage begin a six-game road trip by playing three games in three nights. This marks the third time so far this season of seven scheduled.
MAGICAL MILESTONE: Last Thursday's game was the 30,000th regular-season game in AHL history which featured two goaltenders on conditioning assignments from the NHL. Both goaltenders, Cleveland's Vesa Toskala and San Antonio's Brian Boucher, each recorded shutouts through 65 minutes of play.
SHOOTOUT STOPPER: Karl Goehring replaced Brian Boucher for the shootout in Thursday's 30,000th AHL regular-season game and posted his first win with the team. In 2004-05, Goehring was the AHL's top goaltender in shootouts, stopping an amazing 34 of 38 attempts (.895) and winning each of his seven outings.
