THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Thursday, Oct. 20 at Texas Stars
Cedar Park Center, 7:30 p.m.
The Rampage will travel to Austin to play their in-state rival Texas
Stars (1-2-0-0) on Thursday. The Stars are coming off a 10-1 loss to the Oklahoma City Barons and are below .500 for the first time since their 3-2 loss to the Rampage on Oct. 2, 2009.
Friday, Oct. 21 vs. Peoria Rivermen
AT&T Center, 7 p.m.
The Rampage will host the Peoria Rivermen (0-3-0-1) at home on Friday night at the AT&T Center. Last season San Antonio went 2-1 -1-0 in four games against Peoria, who will be looking for their first win of the 2011-12 campaign.
KZEP DOLLAR DRINK NIGHT- Oct. 21: Every Fri- day fans can get $1 draft beer and $1 fountain soda.
THE UPS STORE BOOK DRIVE - Oct. 29: Fans are encouraged to bring a children's book to the game on Saturday, Oct. 29. Fans can also donate books at any of The UPS Store locations around San Antonio be- tween now and Nov. 5. Everyone who donates a book at either the game or a The UPS Store location will receive a Rampage bookmark and a complimentary ticket to a future game.
THE UPS STORE FLY AWAY PROMOTION- Now- Feb. 29: Rampage fans are encouraged to stop by any of The UPS Store locations to register for a chance to win a trip to Florida to see the Panthers play the Edmonton Oilers on Friday, Mar. 23, 2012. The trip will include roundtrip airfare for two, two nights stay in a hotel and two tickets to the game.
AN EPIC SHOOTOUT: The Rampage set a record for the longest shootout in team history with a 4-3 triumph over the Houston Aeros on Saturday. Forward Angelo Esposito scored the winner in the 11th round of the shootout.
KEARNS HEATING UP: Bracken Kearns recorded his third goal of the season in the Rampage's victory at Houston this weekend. He has now scored in all three games this season and leads the Rampage in points.
EARLY DIVIDENDS: Forward Evgeny Dadonov, who was assigned to the Rampage last week by the Florida Panthers, got on the score sheet in his sec- ond game with San Antonio. His goal against the Aeros on Saturday tied the score 2-2.
PACK LIGHT: The Rampage will remain in Texas for the first 10 games of the AHL season. Eight of their first 10 contests are at home and the only two road games scheduled are last weekend's matchup against the Aeros and Thurs- day's game against the Stars in Austin.
ICE CHIPS: Brian Foster-Goaltender
Brian Foster helped the Rampage to their second shootout win on the season stopping 10 of 11 shooters on Saturday in Houston. He owns a .933 save percentage in the shootout stopping 14 of 15 shooters so far this season.
The Pembroke, New Hampshire native has gone 2-1-0 with the Rampage after coming in to start the second period of the Rampage season opener with a win against Chicago. He maintains a 2.48 goals against average and a .900 save percentage with San Antonio.
