San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (March 15, 2011) - The San Antonio Rampage fan base will be especially paw-erful this Sunday when the team hosts their 4th annual Pucks and Paws Night, presented by Purina One, at 3 p.m. at the AT&T Center, as fans are encouraged to bring their dog to this special game.
Tickets are $20 (includes a $15 human ticket and $5 dog ticket) in which all $5 dog ticket proceeds will benefit the Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare (AAPAW). All dogs must be on a leash (one dog per person), accompanied by an adult and will be directed to enter through the Bud Light Courtyard on the west side of the arena, where a water and relief station will be located throughout the evening.
The fun will begin during the Rampage game with several interactive elements focused on the canine friends in attendance, and select adoptable dogs will have the chance to ride on the Zamboni during intermissions. Adoption Stations will be set up along the concourse where fans will have the chance to help find a forever home for a four-legged friend.
Rampage players Bracken Kearns and Michael Stone will make sure the dogs will be on their best behavior at the Rampage game on Sunday when they partake in a dog obedience class this afternoon at 3 p.m. at Animal Care Services. They have teamed up with students from Lanier High School to help train adoptable dogs to be better household pets by teaching them positive learning techniques such as walking and sitting on command.
