
Crunch Foundation to Hold Second Annual Luck O' the Puck Fundraiser

Syracuse, NY (March 15, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Crunch Foundation, the club's charitable arm, will hold the second annual Luck O' the Puck fundraiser at the club's game this Wednesday, March 16 vs. Albany at 7 p.m.
To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, the Crunch Foundation will hold a 'mystery puck' sale to benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation, Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade and St. Patrick Hunger Project. The 'mystery puck' sale will include 100 exclusive green Luck O' the Puck souvenir pucks autographed by Crunch players and pucks donated from teams around the American Hockey League.
For $10, fans will have the opportunity to purchase green Luck O' the Puck bags that contain a 'mystery puck.' The bags will be sold by the Crunch Foundation at the merchandise stand located on the State Street side of The Oncenter War Memorial Arena beginning at 6 p.m.
In addition to the Crunch autographed green souvenir pucks, Luck O' the Puck 'mystery pucks' will include:
- Binghamton Senators souvenir puck signed by Bobby Butler
- Charlotte Checkers Valentine's Day souvenir puck signed by Drayson Bowman
- Hershey Bears souvenir puck signed by Grant McNeil
- Lake Erie Monsters souvenir puck signed by Ben Walter, Greg Mauldin & Julian Talbot
- Milwaukee Admirals official game puck signed by Jeremy Smith
- Norfolk Admirals souvenir puck signed by Chris Durno
- Peoria Rivermen official game puck signed by TJ Hensick
- San Antonio Rampage official game puck signed by Alexandre Picard, Ned Lukacevic, Chris Summers, Jonas Ahnelov, Matt Pope, Matt Climie, Viktor Tikhonov, Randy Robitaille & Jeff May.

The Crunch Foundation strives to strengthen and broaden the impact of the Syracuse Crunch in the Central New York region by providing funds to non-profit groups and by supporting educational and community programs.
The Crunch's next game is on Wednesday, March 16 when they battle Albany at 7:00 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
