Moose Re-Assign Maxwell to Victoria

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have re-assigned forward Tommy Maxwell to the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

Maxwell, 25, has played in 39 games with the Moose this season totaling four goals and 60 penalty minutes. Maxwell played the entire 2009-10 season with Manitoba where he finished the year eighth overall in the AHL in penalty minutes with 256 in 67 games. His total penalty minutes last season was the fifth highest season total in Moose franchise history. Through five professional seasons, the Spokane, WA native has played in 151 AHL games with Manitoba and Hershey, recording 21 points (7g, 14a) and 432 penalty minutes. Maxwell has also played 87 ECHL games with Phoenix and South Carolina where he scored 25 points (10g, 15a) and totaled 324 penalty minutes.
