
Rampage Sign Jeff LoVecchio to PTO

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed left wing Jeff LoVecchio to a professional try-out (PTO).
LoVecchio, 26, has tallied six goals and five assists in 12 games with the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) this season. The Chesterfield, Mo. native has appeared in 152 career AHL games collecting 26 goals and 22 assists with Providence (2007-11) and Rochester (2010-11). He played in 113 career collegiate games at Western Michigan University (CCHA) totaling 35 goals and 38 assists over the course of three seasons (2005-08).
The Rampage will host their second annual kids day game tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. as they face off against the Abbotsford Heat at the AT&T Center. Fans can get the business man's lunch package which includes bottomless nachos, popcorn, peanuts, soda and hotdogs for $20.
