Anaheim Ducks Assign Peter Holland

Syracuse, NY (November 14, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have assigned center Peter Holland to the Crunch.

Holland, 20, played four games for the Ducks, making his NHL debut with the Ducks on November 5 in Detroit. He scored his first career NHL goal on November 11 during a 4-3 Ducks win over Vancouver.

Prior to being recalled Holland totaled five points (2g, 3a) in nine games with the Crunch this season. Anaheim selected Holland in the first round, 15th overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch travel to Rochester to take on 1-90 rivals the Americans on Wednesday, November 16 before returning home to the War Memorial Arena to host the Hershey Bears on November 18 and Adirondack Phantoms on November 19, both games begin at 7:30 p.m. Season tickets and single game tickets for the 2011-12 season can be purchased at the Crunch Box Office located at the War Memorial on 800 S.
