Rampage Recall Alex Belzile

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that forward Alex Belzile has been recalled from the club's ECHL affiliate, the Fort Wayne Komets.

Belzile, 24, has notched five goals and 15 assists in 17 contests with Fort Wayne. He played in two games with the Rampage following a Dec. 27 recall, a road contest against the Texas Stars on Dec. 29 and San Antonio's New Year's Day game against the San Diego Gulls.

A St. Eloi, PQ native, Belzile spent last season with the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL), tallying 28 goals and 41 assists in 63 contests.

The Rampage host the Milwaukee Admirals in the second game of a back-to-back weekend series Saturday night at 7 p.m., which will be Girl Scout Night at the AT&T Center.
