
Rampage Reassign Devin, Esposito and Wilson to Cincinnati

SAN ANTONIO (December 9, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reassigned forwards Joe Devin, Angelo Esposito and Garrett Wilson to their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.
Devin, 24, scored his first AHL goal in his AHL debut on Nov. 5 helping the Rampage to a 6-1 victory vs. Toronto. He has skated in 13 games with the Rampage since his recall on Oct. 30 totaling one goal and one assist. The Scituate, Mass. native has appeared in four games with Cincinnati this season posting one goal and one assist. Devin played in 116 career collegiate games with Cornell University (ECAC) over the course of four seasons (2007-11) collecting 37 goals and 27 assists.
Esposito, 22, has appeared in nine games with the Rampage this season contributing a goal and three assists. He has skated in 79 career AHL games tallying four goals and 17 assists with Chicago (2007-11) and San Antonio (2011-12). The Montreal, Quebec native was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round (20th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Wilson, 20, has appeared in seven games with the Rampage this season scoring his first AHL goal on Dec. 6. He returns to the Cincinnati Cyclones where he recorded eight points in 10 games before his recall on Nov. 23. The Elmvale, Ontario native appeared in 191 career Ontario Hockey League (OHL) games collecting 94 goals and 89 assists split between the Owen Sound Attack (2008-11) and the Windsor Spitfire (2007-08). He was a member of the 2011 OHL Champion Owen Sound where he tallied 11 goals and 10 assists in 22 playoff games. Wilson was selected by the Florida Panthers in the fourth round, 107th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rampage begin a three-in-three series tonight with a trip to Houston to face the Aeros at 7:35 p.m. at Toyota Center. The team will return to the AT&T Center with a matchup against Peoria at 7 p.m. on Saturday and Charlotte at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Saturday's game features the Rampage's 8th annual Salute to the Badges Night in which the team will honor local fire fighters and law enforcement officials by wearing themed jerseys to benefit The Little Fighter Foundation.
