Crunch Announce Roster Moves

Syracuse, NY (December 9, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled forwards Kyle Palmieri and Brandon McMillan. Additionally, the Ducks have returned center Nick Bonino.

In 18 games with the Crunch this season Palmieri has scored an AHL-leading 17 goals and paces the Crunch with 26 points (17g, 9a). He recorded a hat trick in the team's most recent game, a 5-3 win over the St. John's IceCaps. Palmieri played 10 games with the Ducks during the 2010-11 season, tallying one goal. Palmieri was selected by the Ducks in the first round, 26th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

McMillan has appeared in five games for the Crunch since being loaned from Anaheim on November 28, and has totaled three points. He played in 83 games with the Ducks from 2010-11 totaling 21 points (11g, 10a). The Ducks drafted McMillan in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Bonino is being returned to the Crunch after appearing in one game with the Ducks since being recalled on December 6th. Bonino appeared in Anaheim's 4-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues on December 8th. He has appeared in 17 games for the Crunch this season, recording 20 points (5g, 15a).

The Crunch return home to the War Memorial Arena on December 10th to take on the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. The 10th is also the Stanley Steemer Tired Teddy Toss, bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to toss for a chance to win $500 gift card to Carousel Center. Stuffed animals will be collected and refurbished by Stanley Steemer before being donated to the Salvation Army.
