Canadiens Assign Frederic St-Denis to Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QUE (December 9, 2011) - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Pierre Gauthier announced today that defenceman Fr?d?ric St-Denis has been assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

St-Denis, 25, has played in 8 games for Montreal this season, scoring 1 goal in 4 shots and earning a plus / minus rating of 1. He also averaged 11:58 minutes of ice time per game. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound defenceman has played in 14 games with the Bulldogs this season, recording eight points (3 goal, 5 assists) and 19 shots. St-Denis, a native of Greenfield Park, Quebec, competed in 76 games with the 'Dogs in 2010-2011, posting 23 points (5 goals, 18 assists).
