Rampage Goaltender Ville Husso Recalled to St. Louis Blues

SAN ANTONIO - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong today announced that the club has recalled goaltender Ville Husso (VIHL-ee, HOO-soh) from the American Hockey League's (AHL) San Antonio Rampage.

Husso, 23, has appeared in 37 games for the Rampage this season, posting a 15-13-5 record. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound goaltender, who was recently named to the 2017-18 AHL All-Rookie Team, ranks second among AHL rookies with a 2.32 goal-against average, while he shares the rookie lead with four shutouts and paces that group outright with a .926 save percentage. The Helsinki, Finland, native was originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round, 94th overall, of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

The Rampage begin a two-game series against the Cleveland Monster on Friday, April 6 at 6 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena.
