Rampage Update: San Antonio took advantage of two early goals, the first by Lukas Krajicek (from Greg Jacina and Petr Taticek) at 5:51 in the first period and the second from rookie Kamil Kreps (from Jay Bouwmeester and Paul Healey) at 17:17 in the first, to defeat the Houston Aeros on Friday 2-1 in front of 4,719 fans at the SBC Center. Patrick DesRochers saved 25 of 26 shots to earn his first victory as a member of the Rampage.
On Saturday night, San Antonio scored three goals in the first 3:41 of the game, had six different goal-scorers, and had 13 players register a point as they defeated the Utah Grizzles 6-1. Eric Beaudoin, Joel Kwiatkowski, Gregory Campbell, Stephen Weiss, Ryan Jardine, and Taticek all recorded their first goal of the season. Stephen Weiss also recorded two assists to give him three points for the game. DesRochers picked up where he left off on Friday night and denied 28 of 29 shots.
