AT THE DISH: The Isotopes once again had the tying run on base in the ninth but the Rainiers held off the rally to secure the win ... Drew Butera connected on the only extra-base hit of the game for the Isotopes, a solo home run in the second inning, his third of the season ... Yonathan Daza and Elliot Soto each finished the night 2-for-4.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Starting pitcher Pat Dean took the loss, falling to 2-8 on the season. The left-hander allowed five runs over his 5.0 innings on the mound, striking out six and walking one ... Nelson Gonzalez tossed 2.0 scoreless frames out of the bullpen while Yency Almonte and Sam Howard each pitched a scoreless inning.

TOPES TIDBITS: Each team had one extra-base hit on the night, both of which were home runs ... The Isotopes offense was 2-for-11 with runners in scoring position and left 10 on base.
