SALT LAKE CITY -- The Tacoma Rainiers utilized a four-run rally to top the Salt Lake Bees 6-3 at Smith's Ballpark on Wednesday night.

The Rainiers trailed 3-0 before posting four runs on five hits in the top of the sixth inning. John Hicks and Leury Bonilla hit back-to-back singles with one out before Abraham Almonte belted a game-tying three-run home run. Designated hitter Jesus Montero drove in the go-ahead run with a two-out RBI double that plated Ji-Man Choi.

Tacoma's lead expanded to 5-3 when Choi drew a bases-loaded walk with two outs in the seventh inning, and then stretched to three runs after Almonte hit an RBI single in the ninth.

Almonte ended the night 2-for-3 with a run and four RBI - the most recorded by the outfielder since driving in four runs with Double-A Jackson on April 27 of last season. The infielder Bonilla collected two hits, including his first triple of the season, and the catcher Hicks posted a pair of singles.

Starter Jordan Pries (8-6) collected his team-leading eighth win of the season after holding Salt Lake to three runs on 10 hits. The right-hander issued one walk and fanned seven in his 19th start with the Rainiers this season. Reliever Carson Smith collected his eighth save following a hitless, scoreless frame in the ninth.

The Rainiers (56-56) look to secure a winning record for the first time since May 12th in the third game of their four-game series with Salt Lake tomorrow, July 31. Right-hander Forrest Snow (1-2, 1.52) is scheduled to start for Tacoma against Bees right-hander Chris Volstad (0-0, 5.40). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
