
Railroaders Outscore Milkmen in Series Opener

The Milkmen struggled to stay afloat in their series opener to the Cleburne Railroaders. Manager Gary McClure said "The starting pitching fell behind early," adding to the outcome of the game.
Milwaukee tied it up at 1 at the end of the first inning from an RBI by Jose Rosario.
In the second inning, Milkmen starting pitcher T.J. House ran into a bit of trouble. He surrendered five runs, including a solo homer by Railroader second basemen Chase Simpson.
The eighth inning saw the end of the night's scoring, with Railroaders shortstop Daniel Robinson hitting a three run home run.
Milwaukee's offense ended, leaving six men on base with eight hits overall.
Gary McClure reiterated post-game "We ended up walking into to 4 or 5 double plays and you just can't have that."
Losing pitcher for the Milkmen, T.J. House, pitched 6 innings, allowing ten hits, six runs (all earned), one walk and two strikeouts. House now with a 7-2 record and 3.55 ERA.
Starting pitcher for the Railroaders, Eudis Idrogo earned his third win of the season. Seven innings pitched with six allowed hits, one run (earned), one walk, and one strikeout.
The Milkmen (20-29) continue their home stand against Cleburne (27-22) on July 10.
