MOOSIC, PA -The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (67-59) defeated the Syracuse Mets 2-1 on Friday evening. Rob Brantly went 2-for-3 with a walk-off single.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre got on the board in the second. Blake Perkins smacked his second big fly with the RailRiders to put SWB ahead 1-0. Meanwhile, Matt Krook delivered a gem on the mound. The 27-year-old left-hander pitched 6.1 scoreless innings with eight strikeouts.
Syracuse tied the game at one in the seventh after Nick Dini deposited a home run to left against Emmanuel Ramirez. That run was the first earned run allowed by a RailRiders' reliever this week following 11.0 innings without one in the first three games.

Locked in a tie in the bottom of the ninth, Rob Brantly stepped up to the plate with a runner on second and two outs. Brantly delivered a game-winning knock to bring Chris Owings home and give the RailRiders their second straight walk-off victory.
Tyler Duffey (1-0) earned the victory in his team debut with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Trey Cobb (6-4) suffered the defeat for the Mets.
The two teams continue their six-game series Saturday evening with first pitch at 6:05 PM. Ryan Weber (3-4, 3.86) starts for the RailRiders.
