Railers to Host Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game Presented by Fidelity Bank on Saturday December 10th

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Railers Hockey Club (@RailersHC), proud ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate of the New York Islanders (@NYIslanders), announced today the return of the annual Teddy Bear Toss game presented by Fidelity Bank on Sat., Dec. 10th at 7:05 pm at the DCU Center. Fans are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to throw onto the ice after the Railers score their first goal. Stuffed animals will be donated to the Friendly House of Worcester as well as the Boys and Girls Club. This is the fifth year the Railers have hosted a Teddy Bear Toss.

"The Teddy Bear Toss game has become a fun holiday tradition and benefits two incredible organizations in our community, the Friendly House and the Boys and Girls Club," said Team President, Stephanie Ramey. "We encourage our fans to participate and look forward to seeing thousands of stuffed animals fly onto the ice upon the Railers scoring their first goal."

Specialty Jersey Night

The Railers will be proudly sporting New England football-themed jerseys during the game on Saturday. Game jerseys will be auctioned off and proceeds will benefit the Shine Initiative.

A Chance to Win Premium Patriots Tickets:

The more people you bring to the game, the greater your chance of winning. Every ticket purchased includes 2 entries into the raffle. Patriots cheerleaders and the street team will be present as well during the game on Saturday.

The ticket winner will be announced during the second period. The winner must be present to redeem the prize. Seats are located in section 135 near the 50-yard line on the visitor side.

Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Fans are encouraged to bring an unwrapped new toy to the game Friday 12/9 at 7:05, Saturday 12/10 at 7:05, or Sunday 12/11 at 3:05 for the Railers HC Booster Club annual holiday toy drive. Those who contribute a toy will receive a ticket voucher for a future game.
