Reading Fightin Phils News Release
The R-Phils (10-18) host the Akron Aeros (12-17) in the finale of their three-game series from FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading today at 1:05 p.m.
RHP Chance Chapman (0-0, 6.10) takes the ball for the R-Phils in today's finale. The Aeros will counter with RHP Zach Putnam (2-1, 5.40).
The first 2,000 women 18 and over will receive an R-Phils PINK replica jersey t-shirt. It's Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and the t-shirt will also feature the Breast Cancer ribbon. In addition, the R-Phils players will wear special Pink Game Jerseys that will be raffled and auctioned off to Benefit the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, thanks to 830 AM WEEU & 69 News Berks Edition.
