
Pride, Colortyme Join Forces for Golf Tournament

FLORENCE, SC â The Florence Pride, proud members of the ECHL, announced today that the team, in conjunction with Colortyme Rent-to-Own, will hold a golf tournament on Monday, March 1 at Traces Golf Club in Florence. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a putting contest, which will be followed by lunch. The tournament begins at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
The cost to enter the tournament is $55 per person or $200 for a foursome. In addition, tee box and green sponsorships are available for $100 each. Checks should be made payable to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and can be mailed to Colortyme; Attn.: JDRF Golf; 938 S. Irby Street; Florence, SC 29501. The first 24 teams to enter the tournament are guaranteed to play with a Pride representative.
Prizes will be provided for the putting contest, holes-in-one, longest drive, and straightest drive, and a raffle will also be held. For more information, or to obtain an entry form, call Bob or Nan Kogler at (843) 662-8855 or (843) 250-1316.
The Pride host the Greenville Grrrowl Saturday at 7:30 on Church Night. Following the game, local recording artists N'Accord will perform a post-game concert. Groups of 10 or more can purchase discounted tickets, starting at the low price of just $7 each, which includes both the game and the concert.
