Carlson rejoins Express

ROANOKE, VA – Roanoke Express Head Coach Tony MacAulay announced today that forward Dan Carlson has rejoined the Express from the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League. Carlson will be in an Express uniform for Roanoke's game against Toledo on Friday, January 30.

While gone, Carlson skated in 20 games with the Lock Monsters, notching three goals, including two game winners, and one assist. The 24-year-old Edina, MN native returns to the Express line up for the first time since he was called up to Lowell on December 4, 2003. Prior to his call up, Carlson collected 29 points (11g, 18a) in the first 19 games of the season with the Express.

The Express continues on its season-long 10-game road trip on Friday night in Toledo. Roanoke's next home game won't come until Tuesday, February 17, when it hosts the Greensboro Generals.
