Dayton Bombers News Release
The Dayton Bombers have announced that they will be skating with fans at MetroParks' RiverScape in downtown Dayton (111 E. Monument Avenue) on Sunday, February 8 from 3-5 p.m. Afterwards, fans can "warm up" and meet the participating Bombers' players from 5-6 p.m. at the nearby Boston Stoker (Dayton's Gourmet Coffee Roaster) at 34 W. Second Street near the Schuster Center.
Boston Stoker, celebrating its 30-year anniversary, will have open its 34 W. Second Street location from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, February 8. Bucky, the Flying Squirrel, is expected to make an appearance on behalf of the Bombers during the afternoon. Bombers' forward Fraser Clair, defenseman Nate Kiser, and goalie Andrew Penner are tentatively scheduled to participate in the RiverScape skate and ensuing "warm up" meet and greet at the 34 W. Second Street Boston Stoker (223-1224).
The Bombers will begin a three-game road trip Friday (1/30/2004) at Trenton against the Titans (7:30 p.m./ 7:15 p.m. broadcast time on www.daytonbombers.com in association with www.broadcastmonsters.com). The Bombers will play the fourth of seven meetings scheduled against Trenton this season during this Sovereign Bank Arena clash.
