Predators Reassign Peverley to Admirals

Milwaukee, WI-Nashville Predators Executive Vice-President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has reassigned forward Rich Peverley to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. In addition, the Admirals released defenseman Mark Matheson from his ATO.

Peverley played in 13 games for the Predators in his first NHL recall, picking up one assist. In spite of missing most of the month of March, the Guelph, ON native is still the Admirals leading scorer with 64 points (24g-36a) in 61 games this season. Last year Peverley notched 12 goals and 34 assists during the regular season, before picking up 11 points (2g-9a) in 21 post-season contests.

Matheson skated in three games for the Admirals and did not record a point.

The Admirals are back in action this Friday, April 6th at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center when they host the Chicago Wolves. The first 5,000 fans 21-and-over in attendance will receive a pint glass courtesy of the Milwaukee Ale House.
