(Charleston, WV) - The West Virginia Power extended their winning streak to four games with a 6-2 victory over the Lakewood BlueClaws on Friday night at Appalachian Power Park. Edwin Espinal blasted his second home run in as many games to help lead West Virginia to the win.

The Power jumped out to the early advantage, putting two runs on the board in the first inning on RBI singles from Harold Ramirez and Erich Weiss.

The BlueClaws responded with two runs in the fourth to tie the game with a two-run home run from Andrew Knapp. West Virginia came right back with a pair in the bottom half on a Jeff Roy RBI base knock that brought home Justin Maffei and Chris Diaz.

The Power tacked on to the advantage with an Edwin Espinal solo home run in the fifth and then another RBI base hit in the eighth off the bat of Harold Ramirez.

Power starter Shane Carle (2-5) earned the win while Lakewood hurler Ranfi Casimiro (2-6) was charged with the loss and Buddy Borden (1) tallied the save. Harold Ramirez extended his league-best hit streak to 19 games in the Power win.
