February 7, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Dayton Gems News Release
DAYTON, OH - On Monday, Feb. 14, Dayton Gems players will be delivering Valentine's Day gifts to fans in the Dayton area.
Fans who have gifts delivered to their home will receive two ticket vouchers, flowers from Furst Florist and a Valentine's Day card that is signed by the entire Dayton Gems team. Delivering the gifts will be players from the Dayton Gems roster.
Prices start at just $40 for season ticket holders and $50 for all others.
When ordering, fans will be asked for a list of their top five players to be considered to make the delivery. Blade, the Dayton Gems mascot, can also be requested. The Gems will do their best to have a player from that list make the delivery.
Players will have a staff member from the front office accompanying them on the deliveries to capture all of the events on camera. Snapshots from each delivery will be posted on the Dayton Gems website.
Fans must also be within a 20 mile radius of Hara Arena in order to have the gifts delivered to their front door.
Those who are interested in receiving the personalized Valentine's Day delivery can visit daytongems.com or call the Dayton Gems front office at 275-7777 for more details.
The Kettering Medical Center is proud to be the official title sponsor of the Gems for the 2010-11 season.
