
Bucks' Bes Named Player of the Week

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks, in conjunction with the Central Hockey League, announced Monday that Jeff Bes has been named the Oakley/CHL Player of the week for the period ending February 6th.
This marks the fifth-time that Bes has won the CHL Player of the week award in his career.
The 37-year-old Bes had three multi-point games and scored seven points (3-47) in helping lead the Bucks to a 2-1 record against Arizona last week. Bes picked two game-winning goals last week and up his third multi-goal goal game of the season Wednesday.
Bes, from Tillsonburg, Ontario, has averaged over a point a game for the Bucks this season scoring 46 points (17-2946) in 44 games while posting a team-leading plus-22 rating.
The two-time CHL MVP is the Bucks all-time leader in games played (442), goals (216), assists (415) and points (631). Bes scored his 1,000 career point on November 5 in the Bucks 5-2 win over Rapid City.
Bes will receive a gift from Oakley for this accomplishment.

PUCKS FOR AUTISM FEB. 12th
Saturday February 12th the Bucks will host their first-ever Pucks for Autism night when Laredo hosts Bossier-Shreveport at Laredo Energy Arena.
