For over 30 years, New Jersey's own Joe Piscopo has been a star on television, movies, comedy clubs and the stage. In 1980 he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live and by the time he left the show in 1985, he had left his mark on the program. He introduced the nation to a wide range of hilarious original characters and celebrity impersonations, from The Sports Guy and Doug Whiner to David Letterman and, of course, Frank Sinatra. His work on SNL naturally led to Hollywood, and starring roles in such smash hits as Wise Guys (with Danny DeVito) and Johnny Dangerously (with Michael Keaton). In January 1996, Joe conquered yet another realm when he starred on Broadway as Vince Fontaine in Grease! In addition to the screen and stage, Joe has long been one of America's most popular comedy concert attractions, filling arenas and casino showrooms from coast to coast. He has recently won acclaim for his dramatic guest-starring roles on the NBC drama, Law and Order.

Joe Pepitone is appearing in Trenton courtesy of Yankees-Steiner Collectibles. Joe was a first baseman and outfielder for the New York Yankees (1962-1969), Houston Astros (1970), Chicago Cubs (1970-1973) and Atlanta Braves (1973). Joe was a member of the 1962 New York Yankees World Series Championship team and also played in the 1963 and 1964 World Series with the Yankees. He was a member of the 1963, 1964 and 1965 American League All Star Team and won the Gold Glove award for first basemen in 1965, 1966 and 1969. In 12 Major League seasons he compiled a batting average of .258 with 219 HR and 721 RBI.

The Thunder face the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox) in the second of a three game series on Wednesday, June 2. The Thunder will celebrate Italian American culture throughout the game and will recognize famous Italian Americans and their contributions to music, sports, and entertainment. In addition, one lucky fan will win a Bosch Energy Star Washer / Dryer thanks to Mrs. G TV & Appliances of Lawrenceville, NJ. Fans must register at the Mrs. G's table on the concourse. A different appliance is given away at every Wednesday game this season, all thanks to Mrs. G's.

The Thunder face the Erie SeaWolves in game three of a four game series tomorrow night at Waterfront Park. Wrestling superstar, actor, and best-selling author Mick Foley will throw out the ceremonial first pitch then sign autographs and take photos with fans on the main concourse during the game. One fan will win a new Weber Grill thanks to Mrs. G's. The series will conclude on Thursday night with post-game fireworks and Thirsty Thursday Presented By Budweiser.
