Pigs, RailRiders to Play Doubleheader Sunday
April 28, 2018 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Saturday's 6:35 p.m. contest between the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow (Sunday, April 29).
Sunday's first game will start on schedule with a 1:35 p.m. first pitch. Game 2 begins 30 minutes after the conclusion of the day's first game.
The day will feature two seven-inning contests that comprise Autism Awareness Day at Coca-Cola Park. The Autism Awareness jersey auction presented by Legend Senior Living will conclude after five innings of the second game with winners receiving their jerseys at the end of the second game. Kids Run the Bases presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network will occur after Game 2.
Guests will only need one ticket to gain entrance to both Sunday contests.
Game of Thrones Night, initially scheduled for Saturday evening, has been moved to our Monday, April 30 contest vs. the Syracuse Chiefs (first pitch: 7:05 p.m.). Guests will be able to enjoy Game of Thrones-themed activities during a TD Bank Dog Day featuring $1 Berks hot dogs throughout the game. The Scott Kingery bobblehead giveaway was completed on Saturday and will not be part of Monday's game.
Due to Saturday's postponement, guests holding tickets to today's game can exchange each ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any game remaining on our 2018 regular season schedule. All ticket exchanges must be made in-person at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office (no phone or online exchanges). All exchanges are subject to availability. Anyone with additional questions or requests can contact the ticket office at (610) 841-PIGS (7447).
Those 50/50 tickets purchased on Saturday will be entered into Sunday's drawing that will take place during the day's second contest.
The 2018 Season is the IronPigs' 11th season at Coca-Cola Park and 11th as the top affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
