Behind a season-high 16 hits, the Durham Bulls opened their six-game road trip with a 10-4 win over the Gwinnett Stripers at Coolray Field on Friday night. Durham has beaten Gwinnett (7-12) three of four times thus far in 2018, and climbed to within 1.5 of first-place Norfolk (10-8).
The Durham Bulls go for the series win with Chih-Wei Hu (0-1, 4.15) scheduled to start against Kolby Allard (1-1, 3.68) for the Gwinnett Stripers on Saturday. First pitch scheduled for 6:05 PM ET.
