Minaya Added to Chicago's Roster Today

The Chicago White Sox added RHP Juan Minaya to serve as their 26th man on their active roster for their split doubleheader at Kansas City today. Minaya, 27, began the season with the White Sox after making the club's 2018 Opening Day roster. He has appeared in six games with the Charlotte Knights this season and has compiled a 0-1 record with a 5.40 ERA (5 ER/8.1 IP). Minaya is the sixth player this season to earn a promotion from Charlotte to Chicago. He joins RHP Bruce Rondon, RHP Chris Volstad, RHP Gregory Infante, RHP Chris Beck, and OF Daniel Palka.
