PITCHING MATCHUP

Drew Anderson takes the ball in the finale against an old friend in Jacob Waguespack. Today's starting pitching matchup is presented by Allentown Family Foot Care, which provides the latest in medical and surgical treatments of the entire foot and ankle. Learn more at affc.com.

Anderson makes his 14th start of the year and goes for his eighth win. He is 7-3, with a 3.99 ERA in 13 starts. The righty is 1-1 against Buffalo this season. Waguespack makes his first professional start outside of the Phillies system today. He was traded to the Blue Jays for Aaron Loup on July 31.

LAST GAME

Lehigh Valley split their doubleheader with the Buffalo Bisons on Wednesday in upstate New York. The Pigs took the first game 1-0 on the strength of a Cole Irvin complete-game shutout before dropping the nightcap 2-1. Click here to read a full recap.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Game 2 of the doubleheader marked the Pigs' first road loss against the Bisons in 2018. The Pigs are 5-1 at Coca-Cola Field this year which is the most wins in franchise history.

A win today would give the Pigs a 14-4 overall record against the Bisons. Lehigh Valley has never won 14 games in a season against an IL-North opponent. The record is 13,which they did against Rochester in 2017.

COMING UP AT COCA-COLA PARK

The IronPigs return home tomorrow for a three-game series against the Syracuse Chiefs. Stick around after the game on Friday night for Aerosmith Fireworks presented by Coors Light. Saturday will be Superhero Night which features a jersey auction and fireworks presented by PSECU before Sunday's youth cap giveaway presented by The Outlets at Sands Bethlehem and afternoon will conclude with postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital.

Saturday and Sunday's games also comprise LEGO Weekend at Coca-Cola Park which will feature more than 1,000 square feet of LEGO toys for kids to play with, large models for photos and giveaways. Get tickets to any Pigs home game.
