WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Pittsburgh Penguins have reassigned left wing Casey Pierro-Zabotel and defenseman Jon D-Aversa from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), it was announced on Friday.

The 6-2, 202-lb. left wing has posted 33 points (9+24) in 38 games with the Nailers this season. He posted a season-high nine-game point streak from December 26-January 15, and had registered 20 points (6+14) in his last 18 games prior to his recall to the Penguins.
