Salmon Kings' Sharrow Loaned To Rampage

West Valley City, Utah - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that defenseman Jimmy Sharrow has been loaned to the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League (AHL).
The 6-2, 198 lb. defenseman will join the Rampage after playing in 40 games for the Salmon Kings where he led all Victoria and National Conference defenseman in scoring with 34 points (10g-24a) while registering 29 penalty minutes. Sharrow also played in four games to start the campaign with the Wheeling Nailers where he recorded two points (1g-1a) and two penalty minutes.
This will be Sharrow's second time in the AHL this season. Earlier this year he played in one game for the Manitoba Moose registering one shot and ending up a +1 for the contest.
The native of Framingham, MA has played the majority of his professional career in the AHL (201 games) between the Manitoba Moose, Rockford IceHogs and Chicago Wolves where he scored 15 goals and assisted on 58 others for 73 points with 125 minutes in penalties.
The Salmon Kings continue their series against the Grizzlies and eight-game road trip tonight and tomorrow evening at 6:05 p.m. PST. Victoria returns home to host the National Conference leading Idaho Steelheads for a three-game set with matches on Wednesday, March 10th, Friday, March 12th, and Saturday, March 13th.
