
Thunder "Take Pride In Stockton" Event Coming March 26

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, a two-time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," announced a special "Take Pride in Stockton" event has been scheduled for Friday, Mar. 26 during the Thunder's game against the Las Vegas Wranglers at Stockton Arena, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
A special night to celebrate hockey in the San Joaquin Valley and the City of Stockton as a community, the Thunder will recognize many outstanding educational, businesses and non-profit organizations that make Stockton a great place to live, work and play.
The Thunder, who has led the ECHL in attendance for four consecutive seasons and averaging 5,934 fans per game through the turnstiles this season, is offering special ticket packages and trade booth locations prominently placed in Stockton Arena to local organizations looking to showcase their programs, goods and services to fans in attendance at Stockton Arena that night.
As an added bonus, discounted group tickets (Upper Premium and Lower End Zone) for businesses looking to entertain staff, board members, friends or families are available for just $9.00, with $2.00 from each ticket sold benefiting the United Way of San Joaquin County.
"Take Pride in Stockton Night' is a night to celebrate many of the fine organizations that make our city such a great place to live, work and play," said Thunder president Dan Chapman. "Being a two-time winner of the All-American City award, the Thunder is proud to host this event for the first time and recognize many of these groups for the excellent work that they do."
Among the businesses and companies that are scheduled to attend include the University of the Pacific, Downtown Stockton Alliance, Literacy-4-All, City of Stockton and the United Way of San Joaquin County, to name a few.
