
Philadelphia Union Midfielder Derrick Jones Receives International Call-Up

CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that midfielder Derrick Jones has received an international call-up by the United States Under-23 National Team. Jones joins four of his Union teammates as players who have received international call-ups ahead of the upcoming FIFA window: Cory Burke, Andre Blake (both Jamaica), Warren Creavalle (Guyana) and Matt Real (United States Under-20).
Jones is headed San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain where he and U-23s have two friendlies scheduled, vs. Egypt (March 22) and vs. the Netherlands (March 24). This is Jones' first call-up at the U-23 level.
