Pettinen Reassigned To Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the reassignment of Defenseman Tomi Pettinen by the big club. Pettinen is slated to be in the lineup when the Sound Tigers host the Providence Bruins tonight at 7:05 p.m. Tonight ‚¬â„¢s game will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Pettinen has one goal, eight assists, nine points and 23 penalty minutes in 60 AHL games with the Sound Tigers, as well as two penalty minutes in two NHL games with the Islanders this season.

Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at the Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
