St. Louis Blues Send Winger to Worcester IceCats

WORCESTER, MA – St. Louis Blues Senior Vice President/General Manager and Worcester IceCats General Manager of Hockey Operations Larry Pleau announced today that rookie left winger Peter Sejna has been returned to the IceCats by the St. Louis Blues.

The 24 year old Sejna completed his third recall to the NHL and has now skated in 20 games for the St. Louis Blues this season. His 2003-04 NHL totals reflect two goals, two assists and four penalty minutes: 20(2/2/4)4.

The 5-11, 198 pound winger has played in 43 games for the IceCats. During those 43 contests, the Slovakian-born winger has registered eight goals and 19 assists: 43(8/19/27). His plus-6 rating is second-best on the IceCats.

The IceCats are on the road for four games beginning tonight in Hartford, before returning to Worcester's Centrum Centre for a 7:05 face off with the Houston Aeros and Portland Pirates on Wednesday and Friday, respectively.
