Albany N.Y. – The Albany River Rats today announced that the Stanley Cup Champion New Jersey Devils have recalled right wing Jiri Bicek.

Bicek, 25, stands fourth on the River Rats with 30 (12-18-30) points in 55 American Hockey League games during the 2003-04 campaign. Albany's all-time leader in games played (423) joins New Jersey for the second time this season. The native of Kosice, Slovakia went scoreless with a minus one rating in seven games for the Devils earlier this year.

The 5-10, 195-pound winger has National Hockey League totals of six goals and six assists for 12 points in 57 regular season games. He appeared in five games during the 2003 Stanley Cup playoffs as New Jersey claimed its third championship.

The River Rats host the Syracuse Crunch in a 7:00pm face-off at Pepsi Arena tonight where all seats are just $10.
