Penguins Re-Assign Hussey

PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Matt Hussey to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced today by General Manager Craig Patrick.

Hussey, 26, appeared in 13 games with the Penguins, recording one assist. In 17 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, Hussey has recorded 19 points (9+10), 12 penalty minutes and a plus-9 rating.

The 6-2 and 211-pound native of New Haven, Connecticut was drafted by the Penguins in the ninth round (254th overall) of the 1998 Entry Draft.
