Columbus Recalls Delmore and Hartigan

Syracuse, NY (December 29, 2005) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled defenseman Andy Delmore and center Mark Hartigan from the Crunch.

Delmore, 29, has appeared in 25 games with Syracuse this season, recording 5 goals, 25 assists and 28 penalty minutes. Delmore has appeared in three games with Columbus without recording a point. In 278 career NHL games with Philadelphia, Nashville, Buffalo and Columbus, Delmore has tallied 43 goals, 58 assists and 103 penalty minutes. A native of LaSalle, Ontario, Delmore was claimed off waivers by Columbus from Detroit, October 4, 2005.

Hartigan, 28, has appeared in 23 games with Syracuse this season, tallying 10 goals, 18 assists and 32 penalty minutes. In nine games with Columbus this season, Hartigan has tallied one goal and six penalty minutes. In 216 career AHL games with Chicago and Syracuse, Hartigan has registered 79 goals, 100 assists and 266 penalty minutes. A native of Fort St. John, British Columbia, Hartigan was re-signed by Columbus on August 22, 2005.
