The Pats jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first on goals by Jared Jagow (6) and Spencer Fraipoint(1). They carried that advantage into the third, but the Pats' Colton Teubert scored into his own net. That gave the Tigers life and shortly thereafter, they tied the game on a 5-on-3 powerplay. It appeared the game was going to be heading to overtime but with 5.7 seconds left in regulation, Michael MacAngus scored on the powerplay on a goal set up by Tim Kraus and Nick Ross.

November 16th /07- Regina Pats - 2 @ Spokane Chiefs -4

The Regina Pats played their third game on the road, Friday night in Spokane as they took on the Chiefs. The Chiefs who are one of the WHL's top teams came out hard and beat the visiting Pats by a score of 4-2. The Pats who fall to 16-9-0-0 on the season got goals from Jordan Eberle (20) and Logan Pyett (12) in the loss. Linden Rowat took the loss in net as the Pats will now move on to Tri-City to play the Americans.

November 17th/07- Regina Pats - 1 @ Tri-City Americans - 4

The Regina Pats played their fourth consecutive game on the road Saturday night, where they took the CHL's 7th ranked team in the Tri-City Americans. The Pats jumped out to an early 1-0 lead when Troy Ofukany (4) scored on the powerplay just 4 minutes into the hockey game. The score would stay that way until the start of the 2nd period when former Moose Jaw Warrior Jason Reese would notch back to back goals as the Americans would go into the 2nd intermission with the 2-1 lead. In the 3rd, Colten Yellow Horn would notch his 10th and 11th goals of the season as the Americans would go on to defeat the Pats by a score of 4-1.

Who's Hot

- Jordan Eberle - Has 20 goals and 13 assists, which is good enough for 6th in the WHL scoring race. Eberle is also on a seven game point streak, with four goals and three assists including a shootout winner.

- Pats captain, Logan Pyett sits in 2nd in defencemen scoring in WHL with 12 goals and 11 assists in 23 games. Pyett also leads the WHL in game winning goals with 4.

- 20 year old forward Tim Kraus has 30 points in 24 games since joining the Pats and that puts him in 7th spot in the WHL scoring race.

NHL Preliminary Draft Rankings:

The National Hockey League released its preliminary rankings for the 2008 Entry Draft this week, with three Regina Pats making the grade. Pats defencemen ,Colten Teubert is ranked #3, while forward Jordan Eberle is #8 and Matt Delahey is # 16.

The top ranked WHL player is Everett Silvertips forward Kyle Beach.

Pats Send 5 to ADT Challenge

The Regina Pats will send four players and their head Coach Curtis Hunt to represent the WHL at the ADT Challenge at the end of November. Forward Jordan Eberle along with defencemen Nick Ross, Colten Teubert and Logan Pyett will all be taking part in ADT challenge. The challenge will take place from November 19th to November 29th, with the Western Hockey League's games being played November 28th in Kootenay and the 29th in Medicine Hat.

Pats Send 2 to World Under 17 Challenge

The Regina Pats will send two players to the World Under 17 Challenge in London, Ontario. Forward Garrett Mitchell and defencemen Alex Pym will play for team Western this upcoming December. The two players will be playing games from December 29th until January 4th; missing three of the Pats games.

In the System

- With the Regina Pats being on West Coast it will give them an opportunity to bring up 15 year old forward Jordan Weal. Weal the product of North Vancouver BC, was a 4th round Bantam Draft pick of the Pats in 2007. Weal currently plays for the Vancouver NW Giants of the BC Major Midget League and has had a remarkable start to the 2007-08 campaign scoring 13 goals and adding 26 assists for 39 points in just 16 games. Weal was the October player of the month in the BC Major Midget League for the month of October. Weal, will be joining the Pats on the November 18th and could see up to as many as 3 games on the West Coast road trip.

- Another Pats prospect to keep an eye on is goaltender Derek Tendler. Tendler has had a great start to the 2007 campaign leading the Regina Pat Canadians to the top of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League. Tendler, has started 15 games going 10-2-2-0 with a G.A.A of 1.48 and a sparkling SV% of 0.939.
