Tips double Bruins 4-2

Chilliwack Bruins News Release
CHILLIWACK, B.C. - The Everett Silvertips polished off a 3 for 3 weekend with an impressive 4-2 win over the Chilliwack Bruins on Sunday night. Zach Hamill, Clayton Bauer and Kyle Beach netted two for the TIPS, who also had stellar goaltending from rookie net minder Shayne Barrie.
The Bruins had plenty of chances throughout the game, but could not get many second or third chances on Barrie as Everett's defense stood the challenge and prevented most opportunities that Barrie couldn't handle himself. Late goals from Kevin Boutilier and Jeff Einhorn made the score close, but the Silvertips were full value for the victory.
Matt Esposito takes the loss in goal for the Bruins, who now head out on a tough three game road swing through the US Division, beginning with a contest against Western Conference leaders, the Spokane Chiefs.
