Chilliwack Mayor Sharon Gaetz and other local notables will take a swing at cancer... in this case a car with the word cancer painted on it. It's symbolic... many of those who have been touched by cancer would welcome the opportunity to "take a swing at cancer".
The public will then have the opportunity to take a swing... for a minimum $5 donation. Take a swing is sponsored by Amix Salvage and Chilliwack Insurance.
Chilliwack Bruins vs. Kelowna Rockets - 7pm
Special $15 tickets are available at the Canadian Cancer Society Office (9136 Young Rd). $4 from these tickets goes to the Canadian Cancer Society.
At the game... 50/50, stick auction, haircuts, Johnston's Meat raffle - all in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
