The Tulsa Oilers begin their 18th Central Hockey League season tonight visiting the Mississippi RiverKings at 7:05. You can catch the action from Mississippi at www.tulsaoilers.com or watch on line at CHL TV.
Heading into tonight's game coach Bruce Ramsay added goaltender Ryan Ludzik and 6-foot-6 defenseman Derek Merlini (acquired from the Texas Brahmas for future consideratons) to the Oilers roster. Ramsay is in his first season as the Oilers coach.
"It's been a busy but a good summer for us," Ramsay said. "We're ready to go."
The home opener for the Oilers in their 18th CHL season will be Saturday October 24th at 7:35 against the Wichita Thunder. Season tickets for the Oilers 2009-10 season in the BOK Center are available by calling the Oilers at (918) 632-PUCK (7825).
