CHL On-Ice Officials Introduced

(Tempe, Arizona) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today the gentlemen that will serve as the league's full-time on-ice officials for the 2009-10 season. Of the 14 full-time referees and linesmen, eight are new to the CHL this season.

The new faces are referees Dan Dreger, Justin Greene, Ryan Hersey and Jon McIssac and linesmen John Grandt, Bill McGoldrick, Cory Piche and Jon Shaw.

Returning full-time officials include referees Kevin Graber and Tom Steinel and linesmen Jordan Crowell, Benjamin Dupuis, Chris Petrin and Pat Smith.

"We are excited about the young men we have in the fold this season as on-ice officials," said Wayne Bonney, CHL's Supervisor of Officials. "I feel that this is one the finest groups we have had and are very eager for the season to get underway."

The CHL has had numerous officials in recent years make it to the National Hockey League and American Hockey League including both Frederick L'Ecuyer and Gord Dwyer who are both NHL referees.
