Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Chiefs announced today that the jerseys worn by the players during the historic home opener on October 18 versus Wheeling are now available for auction. Minimum bid is $125.

The jerseys resembled the uniforms the team wore in 1988, their inaugural season in the ECHL.

Corbin, Brian Deeth, Jean Desrochers, Rob Drummond, Alexander Imbeault, Mike Knight, Andrew Martens, Bryan Nathe, Ryan Nie, Andrew Penner, Randy Rowe, Jason Spence, Dmitri Tarabrin, Mark Tobin and Vincent Zaore.
The Chiefs are back on home ice Saturday night when they host Reading at 7:00 p.m. The Chiefs will be wearing throwback Johnstown Blue Birds jerseys that evening. Following the game their will be a live auction on the ice for the game worn jerseys.
Next Friday, November 16 when the Chiefs take on the Dayton Bombers will be the first annual "BIC Wite-Out Nite." The first 3,000 people will receive a BIC Wite-Out/Chiefs t shirt courtesy of BIC Corporation. Fans are encouraged to wear the t shirts during the game. Saturday November 17 is UPMC Health Plan rally towel night. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Chiefs rally towel.
